It’s no secret that neutral tones are emerging as we speak in the trend world and I’m totally all for it. Personally I think tonal outfits are so beautiful and effortless and just scream fresh spring-like vibes.
I have pulled together 5 essential pieces to invest in to get the most out of this wearable- easy to achieve trend.
I have seen sweatshirts cropping up more and more recently starting with slogan ones and now a whole range of pretty simple tones have risen. A sweatshirt makes the perfect base piece to a tonal outfit. I’m loving camel tones with white at the moment they’re just beautiful together, and a colour combo I’m going to be wearing to death for the forceable future. I never use to even look at sweatshirts but I’m now obsessed with how they’re becoming less for casual use and more for trending looks. ( and not to mention the comfort factor)
We haven’t even hit spring yet and I have already seen some of the most stunning trousers and denim being released, but we’re not hear to talk about trousers and denim in general I’m talking all the light tones and wide leg must haves.
Bags and accessories going into Spring and Summer are my favourite I love the earthy raw basket bags and wooden beaded bags we’re seeing at the moment, it’s safe to say my collection from last year is definitely going to be significantly grown! I also wanted to mention that animal print accessories are still going strong and light toned prints compliment soft neutral outfits perfectly.
A light toned jacket is just the finishing touch for this style of outfit whether its some contrasting denim or a chic light weight trench they all make these beautiful spring-like pieces a bit more wearable on the not-so-warm days for the tricky transitional time of year. I have listed just a few of my favourites here.
You can never have too many whether it’s a pair of chic sliders, simple boots (some of which I have been loving from Topshop recently) wedges or sandals with the most beautiful unique tie details giving them that extra special touch.
